December 1 & 2 at Landmark Park in Dothan, Alabama!
The annual Scott 1817 Seminole War Battle reenactment and living history event will be at Landmark Park in Dothan, Alabama, on December 1 & 2, 2018. Severe damage to River Landing Park in Chattahoochee forced us to relocate this year's event to Dothan so come and join us there! We will be back in Chattahoochee next year.
Activities this year include living history camps, musket firings, weapons demonstrations, lectures, a memorial service and battle reenactments both Saturday and Sunday! Activities will run 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days!
Saturday's Battle Reenactment will be at 11:30 a.m.
Sunday's Battle Reenactment will be at 1:30 p.m.
The Scott 1817 Seminole War Battle Reenactment was established in 2017 to mark the 200th anniversary of the first U.S. defeat of the Seminole Wars.
When is it?
This year's event will be held December 1 -2, 2018!
